Section 1 - Guild Chat

1. English is the only language permitted in the guild chat, our members come from many different countries and we'd like for everyone to feel included.

2. Please avoid using harsh language in the guild chat, let's try and keep the atmosphere in the guild relaxed and friendly.

3. Don't fight in guild chat. Solve your conflicts in whispers, or if need be, contact an officer to help arbitrate a solution.

4. Be polite. Don't forget that behind each character is a real person who's trying to have fun, just like you are.

5. Obey the officers, we don't order people around often and when we do, it's because we have to for the greater good.

Section 2 - Joining and Leaving

1. Leave the guild before hunting for a new one. If you are displeased with being in Sempher Fi, either leave or try and work with us to solve the problem. Anyone found applying for a new guild while still being a member of SF will be removed.

2. If you do leave, remember that it might be hard to return. Members who are reinvited are most often so because the officers remember them as good players and good people.

3. Once invited, contact an officer to have an account created for you. Most important announcements are made on the forums and we expect you to keep yourself up to date.

4. New members are trial members for 2 to 4 weeks, during which time they may be removed for any reason. When the trial period is near its end, you will be evaluated and the final decision to upgrade you to a full member or remove you is made.

5. If you, for some reason, wish to temporarily join another guild, you may request a leave of absence. If you are granted one, you may return to SF when you wish.

6. Use your characters, we have a very liberal alt policy, however, inactive characters will be pruned every 30 days.

Section 3 - Raiding

1. The entry way to the 25-man raids is 10-man raids, prove yourself there to have a chance of being added to the 25-man rotation list. It's also your best bet for gearing up.

2. Once added to the 25-man list, you must maintain the same level of effort as it took to get on it. Underperforming members will be removed from the list.

3. Listen to the raid leaders, they're the ones in charge and what they say goes.

4. Raids last until the posted end-time or until raid over is called, whichever comes first. Sometimes raids will progress beyond the posted end-time, but attendence is not mandatory at that point.

5. Don't go AFK too often, or AFK without warning. Either may result in being removed from the list.

6. Signing up is a binding contract. If you must sign out, please do so as soon as you know you have to. Help the raid leaders help you.
